Since their September 2006 launch, .MOBI domains have escalated in popularity. A recent report by mTLD reveals that over 550,000 .MOBI domain names have been sold to date with .MOBI having potential to become one of the fastest growing TLDs in the world given the rapidly accelerating number of mobile phones in the world.
