August 14, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Staffing and recruiting solutions provider VCG (vcgsoftware.com) announced on Monday it has added Microsoft Exchange to its line of hosted software services solutions.
The service provides users with email, calendaring, scheduling, public directories and other collaborative functions available to Exchange users. This service is housed in VCG's colocation facility and has already been successfully implemented by a number of customers.
VCG clients who use StaffSuite or WebPAS can also integrate Microsoft Exchange with their staffing software solution. Other benefits of VCG Exchange Hosting services include low cost-of-ownership, scalability and high performance. The Exchange Hosting service includes a spam firewall with a 10-layer defense system that protects the client's email account.
"This new service offering evolved from customer feedback," says Steve Taylor, president of VCG. "Customers wanted a feature-rich email application but did not want to have to focus on the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the application. VCG's state-of-the-art hosting facility, experience in managing hosted applications and excellent customer service combine to make this a very compelling offering."
