August 10, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Data center operator and managed hosting provider Peak 10 (peak10.com) announced on Thursday that it has acquired a 33,000 square foot facility in the Atlanta, Georgia suburb of Norcross. The new facility is expected to be fully operational by September 2007.
Peak 10 Atlanta is the company's second new market expansion in 2007. In February, Peak 10 entered the Richmond, Virginia marketplace with its acquisition of managed hosting operator, bayMountain. Peak 10 says the move into Atlanta reflects Peak 10's strategy of expanding to contiguous markets, establishing enterprise-class data center facilities and developing a highly skilled local market leadership team for the delivery of services to its customers.
"Peak 10's local leadership has set high standards and has built a solid reputation for understanding and enhancing customer growth," says David Jones, president and chief executive officer of Peak 10. "We are seeing a strong demand for our services and customer-focused solutions and know that Atlanta is a large market with high growth trends for small to medium enterprises and larger businesses. The reception of Peak 10 in Atlanta has surpassed our expectations."
Last week, Peak 10 recently hosted an exeCConnect luncheon at its Raleigh, North Carolina data center.
