SpiralHost currently offers Continuous Data Protection to all customers as a free value-added service under the name Rest Easy. The data protection technology from R1Soft enables companies to provide real-time backup of data, helping to eliminate the threat of data loss in the event of a disaster.

In February, R1Soft launched R1HPP, which provides R1Soft partners with volume discounts, 50 percent off MySQL add-ons, professional public relations services and other brandable marketing materials.

SpiralHost will now be able to access priority technical support from R1Soft, different sales and marketing resources, and expert assistance on effectively deploying the data protection solution.

Rest Easy data protection includes three separate backup schedules for each shared hosting account. Weekly backups store eight restore points for two months, daily backups store 14 restore points for two weeks, and hourly backups store 48 restore points for two days.

Customers may specify which files should be backed up. In addition to shared hosting, SpiralHost offers reseller hosting, domain name registration, and SSL certificates.
