The company will now provide hosting services in support of SAP solutions in the United States. The accreditation was given following a thorough audit of Terremark's infrastructure and application hosting services through SAP's dedicated service center and data center.

The company says its Infinistructure utility computing architecture has redefined industry standards for scalable and flexible computing infrastructure. Its DigitalOps service platform combines end-to-end systems management workflow with a comprehensive customer portal.

Terremark supports the SAP Business All-In-One solution with its Infinistructure utility-computing platform, asys the company.

Infinistructure's enterprise-class server and storage infrastructure combines Terremark's proprietary service management platform with virtualization technology from partners including VMWare, Cisco, and HP.

Terremark Worldwide provides IT infrastructure services, including managed hosting, colocation, disaster recovery, security and cloud computing services, delivered on an advanced technology platform.

The company uses data centers in the United States, Europe and Latin America with access to massive and diverse network connectivity. In June, Terremark announced it nearly completed construction on its new "green" data center in Culpepper, Virginia, which it says will provide more efficient heating and cooling.
