August 7, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Canadian telecommunications provider Blink Communications (blink.ca), an Oakville Hydro (oakvillehydro.com) subsidiary, announced on Wednesday that it has completed its acquisition of Milton Hydro Telecom from Milton Hydro Holdings. The news follows another recent high-profile Canadian acquistion in which Montreal-based telecom Cogeco Cable purchased Toronto Hydro Telecom for C$200 million. The new subsidiary of Cogeco Cable is now operating under the name of Cogeco Data Services.
