"CEOs are starting to recognize that a Real Time Infrastructure is a critical pre-requisite to achieving business goals within the enterprise," Attenda products and marketing vice president Simon Hansford said in a statement. "We see Attenda RTI as a vital new component in our IT Managed Services portfolio, enabling clients to transform their IT with rapid provisioning of resources, increasing their service quality whilst reducing their upfront costs."
Attenda's Real Time Infrastructure has already been implemented by iWantGreatCare.org (iwantgreatcare.org), an independent organisation that helps patients find healthcare professionals in the UK.
Founder and chief executive officer of iWantGreatCare.org, Neil Bacon said in a statement, "As one of the fastest growing networking sites on the web, the agility and scalability of the Attenda RTI were key to our decision." Bacon said Attenda RTI's on-demand computing resources help his organization avoid over-investing in unused capacity, decreasing capital costs.
"Our service demands high availability, with 24-7 user access, and looking at the marketplace Attenda was a clear leader in the provision of high availability managed services," Bacon said.
According to Attenda, its RTI solutions offer higher levels of business agility and service availability than a comparable physical infrastructure, including immediate access to 150 percent of the subscribed processor, memory, storage and bandwidth capacity in the case of unpredicted business or capacity demands.
Also, RTI resources can be implemented into a company's current, dedicated physical resources to add the flexibility required for enterprise solutions according to Attenda.
