August 1, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Traffic management software provider Zeus Technology (zeus.com) announced on Wednesday it has expanded the company's executive management team with the appointment of Dave Asprey as vice president of technology strategy.

Asprey will be responsible for defining technology strategy, driving strategic OEM development projects and identifying new target markets and products for the company, as well as provide architectural leadership for Zeus' future product development. He will be based out of the company’s Mountain View, California office.
Asprey has more than 10 years of technology leadership experience in the application networking, content distribution and Web hosting industries. Prior to joining Zeus, he served as director of product management at Citrix's NetScaler application networking division, where he was responsible for WAN optimization and application networking acceleration. He also held strategic planning and director-level roles at Citrix, Akamai and Savvis.
