The expansion will make the facility into one of the premier technology facilities in the Eastern United States, offering state-of-the-art data center facilities for mission critical computing and network infrastructure. Hosted Solutions says it is moving forward with the expansion to meet the rapidly growing demand for high-quality data center and managed services in the North Carolina and surrounding markets.
"Given our geographic location, existing infrastructure, suitable available building space, highly skilled support teams, and the fact Raleigh is already home to one of the corporation's premier data centers, this announcement reaffirms Hosted Solutions' view of Raleigh as one of its key strategic locations," says Rich Lee, CEO of Hosted Solutions. "Raleigh continues to be a strong market for highly-available data center space, which is increasingly more difficult to find particularly for companies that are seeking space for significant applications."
Hosted Solutions will expand its hardened raised floor operations, making the Raleigh location one of the largest data center facilities in the region. The largest portion of the expansion will include a new state of the art Network Operations Center, which will feature stadium seating, a multimedia wall for redundant monitoring and will serve as Hosted Solutions’ primary centralized NOC.
