According to the announcement Thursday, Internap supports OpSource's on-demand suite of applications including OpSource On-Demand, OpSource Billing, and OpSource Connect as well as the company's growing interest in Europe.
Originally having used Internap's Performance IP network previously as part of the global delivery of its web operations, OpSource selected Internap's London data center as the most dependable and reliable application delivery venue to meet rising demand from SaaS and web 2.0 in Europe.
Internap CEO James P. DeBlasio said OpSource is at the "forefront" of the SaaS delivery model. "OpSource provides its customers a turn-key application solution to turn software into a billable service and Internap provides a turn-key network and data center solution to power OpSource," said DeBlasio in a press release.
