July 10, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- IT management software provider SmarterTools (smartertools.com) announced on Tuesday that it has released the latest version of its flagship product, SmarterMail 4.3.
"We have worked very hard to build one of the most robust and stable mail server infrastructures in the industry," says Tim Uzzanti, CEO of SmarterTools. "SmarterTools and its customers are now able to reap the benefits of this infrastructure with frequent minor releases of SmarterMail that are focused on new features and not fixes."
Some of the added features in the new update include the SmarterMail Greylisting feature, which stops up to 80 percent of spam at the edge of the mail network, an updated SmarterMail Sync that improves compatibility with Windows Vista, Microsoft Outlook 2007 as well as SmartPhones and PocketPCs.
The company says that customers with a current version of SmarterMail will be able to download version 4.3 for free at the SmarterTools Web site.
