July 1, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- DNS hosting provider and domain registrar Dynamic Network Services (dyndns.com) announced on Tuesday it has opened its latest data center in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, making it the company's seventh data center.
Level 1 PCI DSS Certified Service Provider! DataPipe delivers the best network & support; top tier data centers; New York metro, Silicon Valley, London, Hong Kong, Shanghai. DataPipe - Personal Touch, Global Reach.
Dynamic Network Services offers a strong and reliable network in the United States, Europe and Asia, including data centers in Chicago, Boston, London and Hong Kong. The geographically diverse network provides customers with a solid anycast network with significantly low latency across the world.
The Amsterdam facility helps Dynamic Network Services accomodate the growth of its enterprise-class DNS solution, Dynect Platform. The data center is completely dedicated to Dynect traffic, helping to maximize capacity in Europe, as well as facilitate the best possible speeds across the continent, says the company.
"Our install in Amsterdam reinforces our commitment to our worldwide community of users," says Jeremy Hitchcock, CEO of Dynamic Network Services. "With this new data center, we are better serving the European population with more redundancy, increased capacity and decreased latency."
Dynamic Network Services choose Amsterdam for the location of its new data center for two main reasons. First, Amsterdam is one of the largest peering points in the world, assuring the best connectivity and faster resolution times across Europe.
Second, the Amsterdam site increases European redundancy for the company, making the network even more reliable and robust.
In another recent Amsterdam data center development, EvoSwitch completed the second phase of its Amsterdam data center expansion last month, adding an additional 2,000 square meters of space.
