KITE 2.0, released this week, analyzes performance from both the user desktop and off-site. Its easy to use test script language and repository, according to Chaudhary is intended for web application developers, performance analysts and engineers, quality assurance testers and Web ops personnel, enabling them to collaborate on work across the application lifecycle.

"The rapid Web applications lifecycle needs a testing solution that can keep up," Chaudhary said, noting that KITE 2.0 allows users to monitor networks and quickly repair problems using JavaScript programmability.

California-based Keynote is one of the older measurement and monitoring solutions companies in the industry, having been founded in 1995.
