June 16, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider HostMySite (hostmysite.com), which was recently acquired by Wachovia Capital Partners, announced on Monday that it will continue to expand its operations in Delaware, creating 75 new jobs over the next three years.
The company says the Delaware Economic Development Office (dedo.delaware.gov) awarded HostMySite a $274,000 Strategic Fund Grant for the purchase of three new generators required for the company's data center expansion.
"At the Delaware Economic Development Office, part of our job is to recognize entrepreneurial efforts and assist gazelle firms like HostMySite become more successful," says Judy McKinney-Cherry, director of DEDO. "As a company that has already experienced exceptional growth, HostMySite is expected to provide a significant return on investment for the State."
It is believed the investment will generate an additional economic impact of $3.5 million, bringing the company's total economic impact to more than $16.5 million annually, says HostMySite.
Touting its evident growth over the past year, HostMySite says it has provided customers with an upgraded call center, a new hosting control panel and the build out of an additional state-of-the-art data center.
The company also launched a new website in April and has aggressively expanded its management team to include a new VP of marketing and VP of software development.
