The Alert Logic solutions will help Logicworks to ensure its networks are secure and compliant with industry and government regulations. Log Manager enables companies to secure networks and fulfill regulations that require log data be collected, regularly reviewed, and securely archived.

Threat Manager combines intrusion detection and vulnerability management technology to offer protection against malicious attacks such as viruses and worms.

Both of these solutions are delivered via a software as a service platform, which Alert Logic says enables Logicworks to rapidly deploy IT compliance and security solutions to its customers.

Customers can access Log Manager and Threat Manager through a web browser without requiring software installation or maintenance. LogicWorks will offer the solutions using Alert Logic's subscription pricing, which delivers recurring, incremental monthly revenue and higher margins.

As part of the agreement, Logicworks will become a member of Alert Logic's Vanguard Program. Membership benefits include on-demand security and log management solutions that are competitively priced, accelerated sales cycles and incremental and recurring subscription revenues, minimal management and support effort and comprehensive sales, marketing and technical support.

Wholesale technology provider Ingram Micro Services Division announced in March it is offering Alert Logic's on-demand IT compliance and security solutions under the company's own brands.

Last week, Logicworks expanded its operations into Equinix's New York 4 Internet Business Exchange in Seacaucus, New Jersey.
