123-reg Offers World Cup Promo

June 8, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Domain registrar and Web hosting provider 123-reg (123-reg.co.uk) announced on Wednesday it will be offering free Web sites for all babies born during the World Cup.

The promotion will run between June 9 to July 9 2006 and gives parents of all newborn babies the opportunity to share photos and stories relating to their latest addition with friends and family.

The free 123-reg InstantSite account will allow parents to easily create blogs and online photo albums. In five steps their babies' lives can be documented and displayed safely online for all to see. The easy-to-use package lets users decide on their baby's personal Web site address, choose from more than 300 different templates and then customize the look of the site through the content editor.

"We're offering all new parents the chance to register for a domain name for their baby, to host pictures and stories of their development online, so they are able to document all those special moments and share them with friends and family," says Mark Beyer, sales and marketing director at 123-reg. "It's just one example of the type of Web site people can create in just a matter of minutes."
