May 30, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Colocation and disaster recovery facilities provider MarquisNet (marquisnet.com) announced on Tuesday it has opened a 23,000 square foot data center in Riverside, California.

MarquisNet says its Riverside facility is a Tier 4 data center, which features redundant systems for power and cooling and multiple distribution paths that are active and fault tolerant. MarquisNet Riverside is also powered by Riverside's municipal utilities rather than private utility providers, ensuring the lowest possible risk of any downtime and virtually eliminating the possibility of the rolling blackouts that southern California has experienced in the past, says the company.

Besides colocation, MarquisNet Riverside offers a disaster recovery solution including everything needed to relocate staff following a disaster from assessing business critical needs to providing fully equipped alternative workspace, equipment, voice and data connectivity, technical support and a comprehensive, operational call center.
