PlateSpin Offers Consolidation Solution  May 25, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Data center automation software developer PlateSpin (platespin.com) announced on Tuesday it has released the consolidation planning module for PlateSpin PowerRecon, an automated analysis engine that determines the optimal fit between application workloads and server resources.  The module takes hardware, software and performance information gathered by PowerRecon and automatically recommends an optimal allocation of servers to the most appropriate virtual hosts, such as VMware, ESX Server, WMware Server or Microsoft Virtual Server.
