May 24, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Digital advertising network and MIVA division MIVA Media (miva.com), announced on Wednesday that it has released its new vertical advertising network, the precision network.
MIVA says the precision network complements its existing core network and broadens the company's portfolio of online advertising solutions. MIVA's precision network helps advertisers reach targeted consumers through a narrow distribution inside of specific vertical categories, as opposed to the core network, which offers broad horizontal distribution, says the company.
"While our primary strategy is focused towards becoming more of a consumer-oriented direct marketer, we continue to believe our MIVA Media third-party advertising network provides value and reach for online advertisers," says Peter Corrao, CEO of MIVA. "We believe that our recently announced outsourcing plan should allow us to integrate all of our ad management and auction platforms, including the precision network, and we anticipate realizing value through a variety of new monetization vehicles for our advertisers through our ad network longer-term,"
The company says it plans on integrating the precision network into MIVA's base campaign management dashboard and it spans 18 vertical categories including automotive, entertainment, finance, insurance, mobile, real estate and travel.
MIVA Small Business Solutions and SWsoft recently released new software that enables service providers to help their customers develop, maintain and grow online businesses.
