May 22, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Reseller SSL certificate provider GlobalSign (globalsign.com) announced on Thursday that Internet service provider PrecisionPros (precisionpros.com) has joined the GlobalSign SSL Partner Program to provide SSL certificate products to its extensive customer base.
Level 1 PCI DSS Certified Service Provider! DataPipe delivers the best network & support; top tier data centers; New York metro, Silicon Valley, London, Hong Kong, Shanghai. DataPipe - Personal Touch, Global Reach.
Just last week GlobalSign reported that it has seen a significant rise in partnerships, which more often than not can be translated into "customers," particularly in reseller-related service businesses.
Through this partnership, PrecisionPros customers will be able to secure their websites, online transactions, webmail and other online services using GlobalSign SSL technology. PrecisionPros decision to offer SSL as a value-add option will help the company maximize competitiveness, increase potential revenue and help customer security by providing secure sites and transactions - all with minimal costs involved.
GlobalSign has also signed and testing and thermal processing services provider Bodycote (bodycotetesting.com) as a customer, and will secure its critical test data and reports using GlobalSign's DocumentSign services.
Based on the Adobe Certified Document Services platform, DocumentSign enables Bodycote testing experts to digitally certify electronic documents containing test results. These certified documents cannot be amended and cryptographically connect the identity of the certifying party, and a timestamp, to the specific document itself.
GlobalSign will also announce the success of a UK based Adobe Certified Document Services pilot project at the upcoming National Notary Association's annual conference, held May 27 to 30 in New Orleans.
The UK pilot is the early stage of a global NNA project that will develop a global partnership to define and deliver systems and standards that enable secure exchange of documents both domestically and between nations.
The pilot project uses GlobalSign's DocumentSign solution, which is based on the Adobe CDS platform. The project started in December 2007 in the UK with the Notaries Society and represents some 800 Notaries Public practicing in England and Wales. GlobalSign says the program soon succeeded in meeting the goals to provide a legally admissible cost effective e-notarization solution.
