May 22, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider Advanced Internet Technologies (ait.com) announced on Monday that it has awarded information technology scholarships to two members of the Braxton Brigg chapter of the Association of the US Army.
AIT says one individual retired from active duty last year and the other recipient is scheduled for release from active duty this summer. Both recipients are using the scholarships to earn information technology certifications to begin a new career in the IT field, says the company.
AIT says the scholarship is part of the company's continuing commitment to its community and members of the US armed forces. AIT provides individual scholarships up to $2,100 and has distributed a total of $100,000 in AUSA scholarships for this fiscal year, says the hosting provider.
