May 21, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting company C I Host (cihost.com) announced last week it has officially launched the SecureStore backup system, offering a complete backup solution specifically designed for enterprise level customers, as well as dedicated hosting customers.
Level 1 PCI DSS Certified Service Provider! DataPipe delivers the best network & support; top tier data centers; New York metro, Silicon Valley, London, Hong Kong, Shanghai. DataPipe - Personal Touch, Global Reach.
SecureStore offers businesses an "enhanced level of security and reliability" and can be customized to provide the level of protection needed.
C I Host says that the backup solution secures files containing vital business systems, as well as file permissions, system state, registry and SQL databases.
"SecureStore is a completely different kind of backup solution from those previously offered," says Nicholas Claunch, chief technology officer at C I Host. "SecureStore is a collection of software-driven solutions that backs up and restores your data exactly as it was at the point of your most recent backup. Your files and your system can be restored as they were before a failure, reducing your downtime."
The new solution can be used with all Windows and Debian Unix servers. Backups are stored off-server in C I Host’s NAS, ensuring that critical system information is continuously protected even in the event of system failure.
As the first of many business innovations C I Host is currently developing, SecureStore uses redundant hardware, and data can be restored quickly if a drive fails. The solution also reduces administrative overages since backups do not affect customer’s bandwidth use.
Security solutions provider Perimeter also recently launched an automated and on-demand backup service, which keeps the data available and securely stored as well as meets with compliance requirements.
