The company announced today it signed an agreement with Rack-Soft (4psa.com) to resell its flagship product VoipNow, a PBX software for service providers and enterprises.
Integrating the application into Parallels Plesk Control Panel, the company will deliver it via the software as a service model for Parallels service provider customers to a low monthly alternative to PBX system functionality.
Along with Smart Online (smartonline.com), Parallels also announced today that platinum Parallels partner, Solar VTG, will add the Onebiz suite of SaaS applications to its product platform. The service offering will provide added value to its hosting customers and help increase revenue potential, say the companies.
The Onebiz applications are powered by Smart Online and offered through the Parallels Automation systems, providing small business end users with business productivity applications such as accounting, human resources, customer relationship management and sales force automation.
Austrian web hosting provider emerion WebHosting GmbH (emerion.com) also announced it is using Parallels Virtuozzo Containers to power new virtual private server offerings for its customers, along with Parallels Plesk Control Panel and Parallels Business Automation software.
Finally, Absolute Performance (absolute-performance.com) has expanded its partnership with Parallels to better enable managed services and hosting providers to gain a strategic foothold in the rapidly expanding SaaS and on demand marketplace.
The expansion, which builds on the companies existing partnership established in 2007, will see Absolute Performance's further support for Parallels Virtuozzo Containers within the SaaS delivered System Shepherd application performance management software, support for the API and will add support for APS applications, and future integration initiatives to bring deeper application performance management.
Parallels announced on Friday it is integrating Open-Xchange's open source email and collaboration software with Parallels Automation solutions.
