May 16, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Intelligent routing solutions provider Internap Network Services (internap.com) announced on Tuesday that revenue-generating online video site goChongo (gochongo.com) has selected it to provide colocation and advertising services to power its infrastructure.

GoChongo says it chose Internap for its unique end-to-end Internet solutions approach because it was in need of secure, reliable delivery of music and imagery and a scalable platform to provide the best possible user experience. Internap's Private Network Access Point architecture, which is a key element of the Performance IP service, provides intelligent management of network traffic routes, minimizing packet loss and latency over the Internet. The optimized connectivity allows for smooth, uninterrupted streaming of goChongo's user-generated videos, says Internap.

The company says its proprietary advertising and monetization software lets goChongo subscribers share revenue generated by in-stream ads, enabling participants to earn prize money for contributing the most popular content.
