May 11, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider Memset (memset.net) announced on Wednesday it has selected public relations and marketing agency Momentous PR (momentousuk.com) to help elevate awareness of its Web hosting services amongst the enterprise and SME markets.
The company says Momentous will be responsible with creating awareness of Memset's Web hosting service as well as positioning the company as an advocate of wider business issues, such as green computing. Memset says it became the UK's first carbon neutral Web host last year and is dedicated to encouraging other businesses to take green computing seriously.
"Recently securing two high profile awards in the annual PC Pro 2006 Awards and the Surrey Business Awards 2006/7, re-affirmed that we've got a great story to tell and I knew Momentous was a perfect partner for Memset to get the message out," says Kate Craig-Wood, managing director at Memset.
Together with the use of case studies, online polls, by-lined articles and speaking opportunities Momentous says it aims to position Memset as a comparable alternative to its main competitor in the UK, Rackspace Managed Hosting. The contract also involves raising the profile of founder and managing director, Kate Craig-Wood as a leading female entrepreneur in the technology industry, says Momentous.
