May 10, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Dedicated hosting provider Layered Technologies (layeredtech.com) announced on Wednesday it has been chosen by hosted messaging solutions provider mobileStorm (mobilestorm.com) to enable its marketing focused Software as a Service offerings.

Layered Technologies' The GridLayer virtual private data centers will alleviate the burden of system administration, networking and load balancing techniques associated with running mobileStorm's high volume computing environment.

The company has customers in over 120 countries, enabling them to rapidly deploy on-demand hosting and utility computing services.

The company recently announced that along with 3Tera, it launched virtual private data centers, a new utility computing service for software-as-a-service and Web 2.0 companies.
