According to the company's recent press release, Martin is considered one of NASCAR's 50 Greatest Drivers and is the all-time leader in nationwide series victories. He will be driving the Go Daddy sponsored car for the first time this season at South Carolina's Darlington Raceway.
The "No. 5 Go Daddy Chevrolet" was designed by racecar driver and GoDaddy spokesman Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and is described as "a sleek black, orange and green Monte Carlo SS." Earnhardt was the first to drive the car at the Texas Motor Speedway Nationwide Series event last month.
"We are ecstatic to be a part of both NASCAR and IndyCar racing," says Bob Parsons, CEO and founder of Go Daddy. "How lucky are we to have outstanding drivers like Danica, Dale, Jr., Mark Martin and Ron Fellows all representing Go Daddy?"
It seems April was a good month for Go Daddy and its auto racing sponsorships. Go Daddy reported that Girl Danica Patrick made history as the first female ever to win in IndyCar with the Japan 300 victory.
The Diamond Hill Plywood 200 NASCAR Nationwide Series will be airing live on ESPN2 at 7:30 p.m. ET, says Go Daddy.
