Telstra Names New Senior VP Of Sales May 2, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Telecommunications Provider Telstra (telstra-usa.com) announced on Tuesday it has appointed Vincent Morreale as its new senior VP of sales and marketing. In his new role, Morreale will be responsible for the company's sales and marketing activities in North and South America. He will work with Telstra's multi national enterprise and service provider customers who require voice, broadband, IP, MPLS and managed services globally. "With over 22 years experience in the telecommunications industry, Mr. Morreale joins us with an impressive record of experience in wire line, wireless and optical sales across both enterprise and carrier customers," says Andrew Morawski, president of Telstra. "We are very fortunate to have someone of Mr. Morreale's caliber join our team." Morreale joins Telstra from Alvarion where as VP of global business development he was responsible for the market introduction of Alvarion's Mobile WiMAX portfolio to tier one carriers. Prior to that, Morreale held the position of VP of sales at Nortel Networks.
