April 30, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider C I Host (cihost.com) announced on Friday that it is celebrating its tenth anniversary in the Web hosting business.

In 2006, C I Host added more than 60,000 new clients worldwide and lowered its churn rate to 2 percent, less than half its 2005 rate. Revenues increased more than 20 percent and profits more than 25 percent.

C I Host expanded data center in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas area for the ninth time in 10 years. And the company purchased 65,000 square feet of space, which C I Host is currently in the process of constructing a new Tier-2 data center facility.

The combination of a solid financial footing and a supportive customer base bodes well for our future," says Christopher Faulkner, CEO of C I Host. "Where we are today, on our tenth anniversary, is due to the tremendous dedication and skill of our employees. We have also been blessed with tremendous success and none of it would have been possible without the support of our customers. They are truly the collective CEO of my company."

Last week, C I Host appointed Michael Calmes its chief network architect.
