CrystalTech Adds Linux Web Hosting

April 26, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider CrystalTech Web Hosting (crystaltech.com) announced on Tuesday it now offering two Linux dedicated hosting plans.

The Web hosting provider decided to offer more diversity in environment to accommodate the varied needs of its customer base. The size and stability of CrystalTech's internal network has allowed the company to integrate the dedicated Linux servers on their own segments entirely without affecting current and future Windows-based customers.

"These Linux plans are an extension of the premier hosting CrystalTech is known for and displays the furthering of our scope of expertise," says Robert Cichon, CrystalTech chief operating officer. "While our concentration in the shared hosting market will remain strictly Windows-only, moving into the Linux dedicated market is not a stretch for us. In fact, we have been working with Linux supporting some of our back-end systems for years."

CrystalTech offers two Linux dedicated plans to meet the needs of its customers. Each server comes with a wide range of software preinstalled including the most recent versions of CentOS, Apache, PHP, MySQL, PostgreSQL and Webmin along with Cyrus Mail Server, Sendmail and IMP. Customers can use the included SSH interface to configure a strong Linux online presence by plugging in their favorite applications.
