Sibername has successfully registered over 1,300 domains of the 8,000 land-rush applications it received. The company says it will also offer registration services for some domains unavailable through land-rush due to pending sunrise application, sometime in June.
The company offers .eu domain registrations for €11.99, along with more than 20 other domain extensions. Sibername also offers Web hosting services starting at $7.50 per month.
Over 1.5 million .eu domains have been registered since its launch. Some industry experts estimate that the extension will eventually surpass all but the.com domain in terms of number of domains registered. Sibername is a EURID accredited official registrar of the .eu domain, and is also ICANN accredited for the registration of .com, .net and .org domain names.
