April 25, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Data center automation software provider BladeLogic (bladelogic.com) announced on Tuesday that it has opened a new research and development facility in India. BladeLogic Software Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, is located in Pune, India.
The new R&D facility in India will serve as an integral part of BladeLogic's global research and development organization. This will help drastically increase the company's software engineering capacity to expand and enhance its suite of data center automation software. The new center will also provide the company with access to a large pool of exceptional software engineering talent.
BladeLogic India will serve as the base for the company's sales and marketing initiatives in Southeast Asia. The company plans to aggressively build out both its R&D and sales operations in India over the next two years, and expects to have 150 people in India by the end of 2007.
