April 22, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Business-class email hosting provider Mailtrust (mailtrust.com), which recently changed its name from Webmail.us, announced on Monday that it has launched a new integrated control panel, available through all of its email hosting services.
According to the press release, this new control panel provides businesses with a single Web interface to administer all of their email accounts and related services - including a mix of Hosted Exchange 2007 and Noteworthy, a feature-rich, lower cost alternative to Microsoft Exchange.
Mailtrust says that the new offering will enable businesses to choose between Hosted Microsoft Exchange and Noteworthy on a per-user basis, helping to get customers exactly what they need when it comes to their email. It also provides a cost effective and flexible solution for businesses trying to decide whether to turn to an email hosting provider or manage their email internally.
"Microsoft Exchange is the most powerful mail platform on the planet, but it comes at a premium price," says Pat Matthews, president of Mailtrust. "One of the things that we've found over the years is that our customers need full-featured Exchange capabilities for some of their workforce, but not for everyone. Combining Hosted Microsoft Exchange and Noteworthy can save them money without sacrificing their true business needs. We already have more than 400 customers utilizing both services across a single domain and with our integrated control panel, IT managers can now administer both platforms from a single interface."
The company says Hosted Exchange 2007 email accounts start at $14.95 per user, per month and Noteworthy starts at $3.00 per user, per month with discounts available for larger businesses and resellers.
Mailtrust is a subsidiary of Web hosting provider Rackspace (rackspace.com).
