The Smart Remote is a home theater remote control that has wifi access for downloading advanced services, such as TV listing guides and pay-per-view services with video preview on the remote's color LCD screen.

As a design manufacturer, tvCompass offers licensed product designs to accelerate the adoption of second screen -- handheld devices for use with home entertainment systems. The company licenses its hardware and software technology and currently generates revenues from its click365 wireless content network with applications and services delivered to the Smart Remote color LCD screen.
tvCompass will use a number of Limelight services including Limelight Content Delivery, which provides HTTP distribution of all digital media formats, and Limelight Streaming Media, which provides on-demand and live streaming of all major formats, including Windows Media and Flash Video.
