April 5, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider Awecomm Web Hosting (awecommwebhosting.com) announced on Wednesday it has signed a contract with the North American International Auto Show (naias.com) to provide hosting for the show's Web site.
Since the recent launch of its hosting division in September 2006, AWH was able to provide dedicated Web hosting, load-balancing, database services, managed firewall, managed backup, server management and advanced server monitoring from data centers located in Troy, Michigan and Chicago, Illinois.
Entering its nineteenth year as an international event, the NAIAS featured over 90 exhibitors and added more than $600 million to the metro Detroit, Michigan region last year alone, making it one of the most prestigious auto shows in the world. AWH says the company was excited to work with the NAIAS as many of the employees grew up with it in their childhoods.
"With our load balancing technology spread out across different data centers this year's show was able to support very large volumes of visitors without noticeable performance degradation," says Brent Yax, president of Awecomm Technologies, the parent company of AWH. "We were excited to monitor the solutions in use and are looking forward to continuing our relationship with the NAIAS in the future."
