April 3, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Server automation and virtualization software provider SWsoft (swsoft.com) announced on Tuesday it has launched a new version of its PEM automation platform for native Windows environments to meet the demand from service providers and enterprises with Microsoft data centers.
PEM enables users to deliver a mechanized hosting platform that lowers their operational costs by as much as five dollars a month per customer by allowing service providers to fully automate services. It achieves this by integrating a Web storefront, provisioning workflow, domain registration, payment gateways, service plan management, reseller functionality and customer control panels.
The new PEM for Windows version enables businesses that operate in a 100 percent Microsoft environment to reduce their total cost of ownership by offering an SWsoft automation solution without introducing a Linux server into their data center. The solution makes it easier for service providers to launch and manage Windows services, including Windows-based Web hosting offers, Windows-based virtualization solutions, Hosted Microsoft Exchange and Hosted Windows SharePoint Services.
"The new PEM solution makes it more cost-effective to deliver carrier-class billing and automation services to hosting providers who operate in a Windows-only environment," says Serguei Beloussov, CEO of SWsoft. "PEM's customizable framework draws on the expertise of SWsoft's open fusion initiative to deliver modern hosting technologies that can be integrated with both SWsoft and non-SWsoft services on any platform."
