Parallels Automation has integrated the Google Message Filtering email offering, enabling service providers to offer streamline delivery of hosted services to their customers while offering automated billing and provisioning of the Google services through Parallels.

With the demand for software as a service solutions more apparent than ever, service providers are clamouring to offer them to their customers. Parallels conducted a recent survey which revealed that more than 70 percent of 400 worldwide service providers - nearly double the number that currently offer SaaS - plan to offer SaaS applications this year. Participants also cited security as a key SaaS application they would like to offer.
Google Apps security and compliance services are compatible with any mail system. The services are powered by Postini, the same technology that protects email for nearly 40,000 customers and 14 million users a day, says the company.
Parallels Automation is a customizable data center solution that enables service providers to effectively manage their infrastructure by providing a range of services, including online ordering, domain registration, client self-management, server management, billing and payments. The solution's modular design and flexible architecture enables service providers to expand their system to include new services and scale to several million customers, says Parallels.
