Those customers who would like to obtain a .eu domain name can pre-register one through Sibername before April 7, 2006 when all registrations will be processed under the Land Rush program offered by EURid, manager of the .eu registry.

Sibername will only charge customers who successfully register a domain name. Additionally, any customers who want to protect their identities can use Sibername’s UK division for registrant details.

Over 300,000 registrations were received under the Sunrise registration program that allowed trademark holders to register an appropriate domain name. Several million registrations are anticipated to take place on April 7 making .eu domains one of the leading top level domains.
