March 27, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Leased e-commerce solution provider Webplus (webplus.com) announced on Monday it has released Web+ v6.0.
The comprehensive development language is used to create Web-based client/server applications without writing complicated, low-level or time-consuming CGI programs.
Web+ v6.0 features numerous improvements over its previous version including increased stability, faster speed, new and improved installers which simplify installation and upgrading, virtual hosting support, application variables, improved WAP support, new internationalization support, and new tags such as webRegExMatch and webRegExReplace.
"Web+ v6.0 offers many major improvements over the previous version which will allow our user base to use Web+ in many new ways," says Jacob Lakhany, Webplus' business development manager. "We invite users of competing products to download Web+ from our Web site free of charge and challenge them to give Web v6.0 a side-by-side comparison with their current applications. We are confident they will agree that Web+ v6.0 is the best value for the money."
