With the data center industry slated to grow considerably between 2006 and 2007, says Datacenter Dynamics, there is a significant demand for events that assist businesses in meeting the management and operational challenges of round-the-clock IT facilities.

"We have found that exhibitors and attendees are questioning why they should support shows which have broad appeal, when a targeted regional or technology-specific approach helps them speak to a more focused audience," says George Rockett, conference director of DatacenterDynamics. "With footfall at many technology exhibitions generally on the decline, the expansion of this year’s event program would indicate that niche conferences like DatacenterDynamics is where the market is heading."

DatacenterDynamics kicks off its worldwide conference in New York on March 28 at the Hilton Hotel Avenues of Americas. Further events will take place in Mumbai on April 20, Singapore on May 10, Amsterdam on June 6, San Francisco on July 27, Sydney on August 24, Frankfurt on September 22, Chicago on October 5, Hong Kong on November 16 and London from November 28 to 29. Events in Dallas and Dubai will also be confirmed shortly.
