March 16, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web-based applications developer CM4all (cm4all.com) announced on Friday the release of enhanced multimedia capabilities to its core product CM4all WebsiteCreator.
Responding to the strong end user demand for audio and visual online entertainment that has made offerings like YouTube and MySpace so popular, CM4all says it has added new functionality to various parts of its consumer edition enabling video and music upload and embed.
Some of the new enhancements include upload and management of images, movies and music in one place, a multi-author video blog open to embed code for movies and music including a movie player on external sites, comments page for each media element for interactivity and a permalink URL for each media element.
"These feature enhancements mark an important step towards our goal of delivering two distinct editions of our CM4all WebsiteCreator product that address and target the specific needs of the business and consumer markets," says Robert Schovenberg, CEO of CM4all. "What makes this new feature release unique is that it offers full multimedia sharing power together with community control. We believe that consumers should experience the benefits of sharing information within privacy parameters they themselves define."
