March 13, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Data center operator and colocation provider FORTRUST (fortrustllc.com/) announced it has made two key appointments to support the company's growth and increasing demand for its services.
FORTRUST has named Tim Pierce the company's business development manager. In this role, he will help customers in creating scalable and reliable solutions for their critical services and applications. Pierce has had significant experience in engineering, product development, managed services and solution architecture, having worked at Raytheon on major federal government programs building weather satellite systems.
The company has also hired Michael Piers as a critical systems manager within the facilities group. He will oversee testing, maintenance and planning for the facility's systems, as well as all aspects of physical security and facilities management, and support customer provisioning and installation. Piers previously served as manager at another Denver data center.

Pierce and Piers will support the FORTRUST major progress in the past year which includes the recent 20,000 foot raised-floor expansion of the facility. The data center operator now manages more than 224,000 square feet of space within its facility.
