March 12, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Data services provider FiberNet Telecom Group (ftgx.com) announced on Friday it is developing a new colocation facility at 60 Hudson Street in New York City.

The company says the11,000 square foot expansion will increase the size of its presence at 60 Hudson Street by over 36 percent and its total colocation and data center footprint by approximately 12 percent.
The new facility will be fully integrated with all of the company's other colocation facilities and data centers, including the 60 Hudson Street Meet-Me-Room, via its metropolitan optical networks and will deliver the full suite of transport and interconnection services. It is expected to be fully operational in the third quarter of this year. The lease for the new facility extends through 2022.
