March 10, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Audio and video streaming provider VitalStream (vitalstream.com) announced on Friday it will launch its content delivery service at South by Southwest Festivals & Conferences in Austin, Texas from March 10 to 19. The company will occupy booths O11 and O12 in the Austin Convention Center.
VitalStream says its CDS enables musicians and other creative professionals to quickly manage, deliver and track online content. The service provides a cost-effective distribution channel, charging only for the bandwidth used, and includes central storage, content delivery caching and global load balancing.
The company's other core products include its Flash and Windows Streaming Media Delivery Services, which provide content providers with a platform to market and deliver their music and film to an online audience.
Jim Byrne, VitalStream's director of OEM sales and Steve Newman, CEO of Internet radio streaming solutions provider eonstreams, will host a speaker session titled "Who's Minding Your Store?" at the Convention Center's Day Stage Café on March 14, 2006 at 2 p.m. The presentation will focus on the business of Internet radio and how to make money in an industry where the technology and audience are rapidly improving.
