March 7, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider Attenda Limited (attenda.com) announced on Friday that it has been awarded the VMware EMEA Hosting Partner of the Year Award.
The award was presented at the Partners Awards ceremony at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France as part of VMworld Europe 2008 (vmware.com/vmworldeurope2008/). VMware says the award is a mark of Attenda's success as a leading VMware service provider bringing to marketing new virtual infrastructure hosting and managed services offerings.
In related news, mobile email and synchronization solutions provider Synchronica (synchronica.com) has been selected from 1600 entrants to be honored with the Initiative Mittelstand Innovation Award at the CeBIT (cebit.de) fair. The company says it received the award for its Synchronica Mobile Gateway Service that enables push email and data synchronization for virtually every phone in use today.
Since 2004, Initiative Mittelstand has given an innovation award for the ICT sector and the initiative is known for providing trusted advice to businesses on their choice of IT and telecommunication solutions and informing them about the potential of new technologies.
There is no prize money, but winners receive PR and marketing services for a total value of EUR 150,000.
