March 4, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- German application service provider Point Omega announced on Monday it has selected telecommunications provider Verizon Business (verizonbusiness.com) to host its German call center operations.
Level 1 PCI DSS Certified Service Provider! DataPipe delivers the best network & support; top tier data centers; New York metro, Silicon Valley, London, Hong Kong, Shanghai. DataPipe - Personal Touch, Global Reach.
Verizon Business signed a three-year contract with Point Omega to provide colocation for Point Omega's core automatic call distributor and interactive voice response solutions at its Frankfurt, Germany data center. Point Omega will be provided with a secure, flexible, carrier-grade environment with direct access to the Verizon Business global IP network, as well as Verizon's fixed-voice communications services.
Point Omega says it provides interactive response and call center services to leading German organizations, delivering solutions such as instant polling and voting response. To meet the business needs of its expanding customer base, the company chose Verizon Business for its colocation services to optimize performance, maintain operational continuity and lower overall operating costs, says Point Omega.
"As companies move to an all-IP environment, the ability to outsource critical and performance-intensive technologies to a third-party expert is an increasingly crucial business requirement," says Chris Gesell, director of IT solutions at Verizon Business. "Our solid experience in managed hosting and colocation services, coupled with our global product and service portfolio, enables us to offer tailored solutions to fully support the objectives of companies such as Point Omega."
Verizon Business announced last week it has deployed a 'meshing' network configuration on the trans-Pacific portion of its global network to enable more diverse routes for large business and government customers.
