The program, which has been in development for the past six months, is intended to give Web hosts an edge in marketing and offering R1Soft's Continuous Data Protection to their own customers, says the company. Some of the marketing tools that will be available include product datasheets, press release assistance, promotional graphics and images, website verbiage, a partner directory and case studies.
"The partner program is like tech support for your hosting company's sales and marketing team," says David Wartell, VP of R1Soft, a division of BBS Technologies. "I am going to pay a professional public relations firm out of pocket to launch a successful press release for every hosting partner who joins us and our marketing team has even developed entire sets of website content our customers can use to sell data protection services. The only things missing are our partners' logo and prices."
R1Soft says it is also offering the opportunity for one company to win a free full-page ad in a major hosting publication if they sign up for the hosting partner program before March 31.
Last week, R1Soft announced it is gold level partner for Europe's largest Web hosting conference, Webhosting Day 2008.
