February 19, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Managed hosting provider Rackspace (rackspace.com) announced on Monday that it has partnered with third-party logistics software provider 3PL Central (3plcentral.com). Rackspace will provide managed hosting for 3PL Central's on-demand Warehouse Management System application designed to provide small to mid-size warehouse operators with enterprise-class warehouse management functionality.
3PL says that it delivers its warehouse management software over the Internet as a software as a service offering, helping customers to reduce overhead IT costs and making it easier for them to operate and inventory a vast warehouse with little effort.
