Versaweb Offers Server Configurations

February 14, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider Versaweb (versaweb.net) announced on Thursday it has released two powerful new dedicated server configurations that use Intel Quad-Core processor technology.

The new configurations offer two performance solutions for businesses with a comparable price to older and less powerful configurations, says the company. Starting at $239 per month with a $99 setup fee, the Dual Xeon E5410-based configuration will be added to the Enterprise Series. The configuration includes 2GB DDR2-667 RAM, a 250GB HDD and 4TB of monthly data transfer. Intel first released the Dual Xeon E5410 processor about a month ago.

Versaweb's other new configuration, an Intel Xeon X3220-based model, starts at $149 per month. This configuration will be added to the company's Business Series of dedicated servers, and includes 2GB DDR2-667 RAM, a 250GB HDD and 4TB of monthly data transfer.
