February 5, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider Hosted Solutions (hostedsolutions.com) announced on Tuesday that it has released a report that reveals that software firms are seeing the benefits of deploying their services as a hosted application and that managed service providers are an effective way to deploy a SaaS offering of their solutions.

Information received from VP of business development and general manager at Hosted Solutions, Gary McAuliffe, indicates that as the software industry is changing at a blistering pace, competition and customer demand are rapidly increasing, pushing software firms to offer the best solutions to stay ahead.

Competition and customer demand seem to be the main external issues facing software vendors entering the market. However, Hosted Solutions says that partnering with managed service providers are a good option for software vendors that want to expand the reach of their product because not only can hosts take their solution global instantly, while still producing an optimal user experience, but can offer reliable uptime and attentive customer service. Hosted Solutions says Web hosts can also reduce a SaaS application's time to market, giving the software vendor a competitive advantage.

Last month, Hosted Solutions added its second enterprise data center in the Charlotte, North Carolina market to support the company's continued growth.
